THIS UPDATE TO MY REVIEW: The wireless router is now working properly after following Wang's advice on wireless speeds. I'm posting it below so anyone reading this but can't find the solution can get it here in their own words. You need to log into the router and go to the "Advanced" tab, then to "Configure and Configure QoS". Uncheck Enable WMM (Wi-Fi Multimedia) settings and apply them. After I did that my router went back to normal just like the post said. Hope this works for you too. This is a replacement for my old Lynksis G wireless router which broke after over a decade of use. This one has a smaller footprint and while it feels light compared to my old Lynsis, it was only $20 so I wasn't expecting it to look like the Rock of Gibraltar. It looks good. Customer service was helpful. If there was one more thing I could do I would buy a dual band router as it is only 2.4GHz but if the router lasts long I would say its worth it especially when money is tight. Many Thanks.
