This bag is ideal for bouldering or trails. The chalk won't crumble if you put it on the ground while driving. Because the material is in the right place between rigid and flexible. And while you're high up, the opening is just the right size to slip your hand through without spilling it. You can use chalk or a chalk sock with this type, the size is just right. I didn't use a belt. Instead, I took it off, skipped the carabiner, and clipped it to my belt. The strap seems fine. Finally, this is an attractive bag. The plaid looks cool and really pops. You can't go wrong with this.
