but also looks like an accident

As this is a relatively simple product with no real weak points, I have two problems with this model. One of them is mostly my fault for not measuring accurately, but it also looks like some kind of oversight. The press may be 1/8 inch too long to fit a 10 inch round pan. The standard 2-pack cast iron LL pans are 10 inches, and even the curved kalfalon pan and rim are barely enough to prevent the press from fitting evenly. I was thinking of using a burner to round the edges of the iron a bit to fix this problem. Second, the wooden handle is cut and assembled in a way that doesn't turn properly. I didn't find anywhere in the description that this is a feature, so it might be, but it's awkward to finish the steak with your grip pressed hard so that it suddenly turns and catches the edge of the iron with your palm.
