This is the best 100% biodegradable sponge on the market. It's also the only one on the market.
Assuming the label is correct, this is the only 100% non-petroleum based sponge on the market. After 3 weeks of use, we found that it is not as soft as those mixed with synthetic fibers, nor does it fully absorb moisture. Nevertheless, it cleans everything perfectly and you get used to it almost immediately. Unlike some other reviewers, ours is holding up quite well. In fact, it doesn't wear out at all and we use it every day.

Our coconut sponges are made from plant fibers such as wood pulp (cellulose), cotton fibers and coconut. When your natural sponge has had its day, it is also 100% biodegradable and can be composted.
