When accessing large libraries, the scanning speed is reduced to a minimum. My applications regularly hang when browsing large file databases. Unfortunately, as I bought it before my laptop actually arrived, it can no longer be returned. I'm sorry I couldn't. I will replace it with something else as soon as possible. My Sabrent Rocket Q plays an MP3 in less than a second. It takes 3-5 seconds for each file. That then goes back into the box and gathers dust as "Lesson Learned" never buy Adata drives (at least not without caching). Buy something else.
