Although you can see that a bottle holds 83 charges. . . .this is based on a small load. For a large download, you need to use two "syringes" so you get half as many downloads. This bottle has a "unique" cap. you squeeze the bottle . . and it will stop automatically. I was really wondering if this would work. . . But it is so. So for a small charge, compress it once. For a heavy load, compress it twice. Very easy. You will be amazed at how little liquid comes out of the bottle. This cleaner is very concentrated. . . Virtually NO foam! No one! I have a front loading machine and this can be an issue with some detergent brands. I usually use Persil washing powder and there isn't much suds. But with Swash there is NO foam. One thing that makes "no foam" an added bonus is that. . . If you wash by hand, you only need to use about a teaspoon of detergent. Although there were foams at first. . They went fast. Therefore, this detergent is ideal for hand washing. To be honest, I don't have heavily soiled laundry. I don't have kids with grass stained jeans and stuff. But I can say that this detergent works well for my moderately soiled laundry.
