Good for practice - personal hygiene
So when I started this the ink was constantly smearing and it was so hard to clean. BUT I've found that if you use a &d ointment to remove excess ink and then rub/remove thoroughly it comes off pretty well. It holds ink fairly well and is good for beginners. I keep checking the other side to see if I'm pushing the needle in too hard. It also helps because once you switch to real leather, you definitely don't want to cause a blowout. Keep in mind that faux leather is always a bit more difficult to work with than real leather. Anyway, this is my second try and timing of using this fake. Leather!
