Almost certainly the most impressive console currently available in the market. Taking into consideration the console as a piece of hardware designed solely for playing games. There is some ambiguity regarding the placing; the PS4 Pro is not far enough away from the standard PS4, but it is also quite a distance from the Xbox One X. 4K is more marketing. However, it is instantly obvious that games play considerably better on the Pro, not only because it supports 4K, but also because they look lot better in 1080p. When making the purchase, I strongly advise immediately upgrading the HDD to a hybrid storage device with a capacity of at least 2 terabytes.
Pros
- - The best console currently available on the market - Support for 4K and HDR gaming - Games, especially exclusives, look significantly better on Pro - One additional USB port (convenient if you have a PlayStation VR headset) The user interface of the system actually operates significantly more quickly than on the standard and slim editions.
Cons
- It only has 1 terabyte of memory, which is not very much; it only supports 1.5 games at native 4K resolution; the hard drive is really slow; you should switch to a hybrid drive as soon as possible; the HDMI cable is rather short. - The package does not include any freebies, and you are not even given a free month of PlayStation Plus.
