I bought these for my running shoes. I aggressively dislike tying my shoes all the time and I also dislike having untied shoes (especially on the treadmill). But leaving my running shoes double-knotted and slipping them on/off was causing some knee pain because my shoes weren't fitting my feet properly. After spending a month having to tie/untie my shoes every time I worked out (seriously, how do people do this every day?) I decided to just get elastic laces.These are perfect! Easy to install, easy to tighten, easy to loosen. I loosen them with a single motion before I take them off, and it's just a little tug&tighten when it's time to get back in the zone.They seem pretty well made, although I do worry that eventually I'll just rip the cap right off one day when I'm tightening them (I am not a gentle or delicate woman). Luckily I have 3 more pairs ready in case that happens!Definitely a worthwhile purchase. Running is so much easier when my shoes fit my feet!
