They broke Bluetooth with Oreo and haven't fixed it for over 6 months.

I bought this in September 2017 and I love it. Then about 6 months ago they released an update for Oreo that caused the phone to no longer allow Bluetooth to control streaming services through my car's head unit. I've been waiting for a solution. I've scoured the web and tried everything from a factory reset to changing developer mode settings to updating the head unit firmware to contacting Pandora tech support. Samsung's solution is that I send it in (my only active phone) and wait a week or two without a phone so they can send me a repaired one. no guarantee that it will solve the problem. Yes, I send them a newly purchased phone, ride without a phone for two weeks, and then they send me back a 'fixed' phone, probably with a scratched screen and a bad battery, which probably won't fix the problem. as this is clearly a software issue. I used to swear by Samsung but I can't recommend Samsung to anyone anymore as my S8 wasn't working properly 2/3 of the time I owned it. I currently have the following Samsung devices: Galaxy S3, S4, S5, S6, S7, S8, Gear, Gear S Nano, Samsung Fridge and 4k Curved TV. I'm saying this so you know how much I've liked Samsung in the past. If they release an update that breaks something, they expect you to just buy a new one - I gave them 6 months to fix what they broke in the Oreo update, but they didn't. They had no problems despite pushing their new phone. No thank you. Now that the items are no longer working I will try to avoid Samsung.
