Review on 💡 Razer Chroma ARGB Controller by Maurice Stavros

I have many, many Argb devices in my setup and had high hopes that it was worth it, at least to some extent. Firstly, if it isn't apparent from other reviews, 3-pin Argb headers are extremely difficult to connect to this device. You can't seem to get it to line up most of the time, and when it does, sometimes you can't tell. I have some plugs that are more recessed and I can't plug them in at all. Second, the device must be running Razer software for Argb control to work. It doesn't save what you typed last. Each time you reboot it will revert to the default argb lighting until the Razer software loads. You would think that the controller would have some memory to keep the last sync, but that's not the case. Third, the cables are too short, they try to make it look like you're putting this at the SSD install location, but good luck, your USB cable is reachable. I could barely get it to plug in what I needed. Another reviewer commented on using a 4-pin Molex connector for power, which I think is obsolete and should be a SATA power cable. Let's hope Razer picks up its crap and makes a decent product instead of just snagging money on the latest fads, think again about your products.
