It seems to be doing its job. However, the wire is significantly smaller than the original part it replaced, so I guess time will tell. I suspect this will eventually fail, but it's a cheaper solution and you usually get what you pay for. I also recommend that you get better butt connectors for installation as the ones provided are useless.
