Works well so far

Fast delivery. Ace Hardware could easily cut the key. The product appears to be of good quality and as the key blank is molded into the frame we hope it will last longer than the original Honda. The key came in the form of a blank key with a box to house the electronic chip/battery in her key fob. It appeared to be of good quality but I have not used or tested it. The Honda dealer listed $199 for a key, while Ace listed $135 for a Duracell key. This key costs $20 per key ($10 with $10 for @Ace Slicing). i can't win On the 2012 Honda Odyssey, the transponder is in the chip/electronics of the fob, so simply insert the fob into the new key and it works like a charm. (This information was difficult to find as some Honda key models have a transponder chip molded into the key's plastic frame and require surgery to remove it.) They have a contract with Duracell Keys so call ahead.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • No performance
