So the only reason I bought this thing was because it claims to be a one stop home audio solution. The problem is that some features were ready to use right out of the box. I originally intended to use it as the centerpiece of a new budget audio system; mostly so I can start listening to vinyl albums. To be fair, the player and radio functions work perfectly and I was too focused on playing my records to try the CD/MP3 function before it was too late. So one day I decided to listen to an old CD that I hadn't heard in a long time and... surprise! The disc tray won't even open. When I finally (carefully) manage to open it, I put the CD in and nothing. The device does not read anything, and none of the mechanics in the CD player work. I then tried plugging my MP3 player into the USB port and same thing. It doesn't read anything and the "Source" button doesn't work. I suck for waiting so long to find out these features don't work that I can't get them back now and threw the box away a while ago. I could save a lot of money on another device, but I needed all the extra features this device said it had. A real disappointment. If you purchase this item, please make sure ALL the features work before you decide to keep it.
