Review on Dorman 970 042 ABS Sensor Harness by Eddie Breezy

Well they advertise 'plug and play for easy installation; splicing of wires is not required. That's only half true. The end that connects to the sensor next to the wheel is plug and play. However, you will need to cut and "plug" the original wiring harness into the system. It's very easy to do, just look at the picture. It is clear that you will have to cut this pendant. Another thing is that it doesn't even come close to matching the original suspension. This product has a wire that naturally has a layer of insulation on the wire. Both lines are enclosed in a wiring harness. The OE wiring harness has very heavy and thick wire insulation. I've had this installed for a little over 6 months with no problems. A good winter season is over, and now summer has come. I hope this harness will last for many years. I installed two of these belts, one for each front wheel, because my ABS/traction control system was intermittently disabled. Problem solved with this strap.
