Don't buy a Netgear router if you have a Spectrum! About 2 weeks ago I had problems with my old Netgear router. This will interrupt your internet connection. I figured it was time for a new router so I bought this one. I was still having the problem, so today I called my home ISP (Spectrum-Time Warner) and their equipment was fine. The tech told me they had a meeting this morning and were having issues with Netgear routers after Netgear sent out an update two weeks ago. I called Netgear. The technology there is very good, and he corrected something because too many of my neighbors have Netgear. I just lost internet again. The Netgear tech said they would monitor my router for errors and send me a new one if the problem persists, but I'm returning it and getting a different brand.
