Review on πŸ›‹οΈ DL1830 Furniture Moving Dolly, Two Pack - 1320 lbs. Capacity, 18x30 Hardwood by Luca Washington

Invaluable equipment for moving heavy or bulky furniture.

We purchased carts to move heavy furniture out of some rooms in our home to prepare those rooms for painting. Usually the two of us carried the furniture ourselves, which resulted in some damage to the walls and floor. The trolleys are easy to use and require no heavy lifting without damaging walls or floors. We will never wear this furniture again. The trolleys are easy to maneuver even when both are used on a large piece of furniture. The wheels are solid, plastic, but didn't damage our floors. We don't have any items heavy enough to test load capacity (1320 lbs), but some of our items weigh in the region of 200 lbs. The carts were strong enough for all of our items. The most difficult items to move were the height-adjustable tables. Our doors are quite narrow and there are a few sharp turns in the corridors so we can't slide tables through in the normal table orientation. However, if the tables are tilted so that the long dimension is in the floor-to-ceiling direction, we can get them through doorways. When placing tables on carriages in the required orientation, the table legs were on the carriage but the table top was still on the floor; that is, the table top protrudes so far beyond the table legs that the distance exceeds the height of the carriages. To fix this we were able to place a 1.5" x 4" plank of wood on one side of the wagon, a plank long enough to be supported by pieces of the gray carpet on the wagon. Then we tilted the table to this board. The board added just enough thickness for the legs to rest on the board and the table top not touching the floor. Even with this hack, carts could still maneuver safely. I did not rate the "easy to assemble" topic because there is no assembly. You can use the carts right out of the box they come in.
