I bought these for storing fish food so I can keep some of our fish's favorite snacks next to their tanks. I was really impressed when I opened them, everything is very high quality. The plastic is thick and durable, the lids are easy to unscrew and close. I can't yet comment on how they hold liquids but they are ideal for haberdashery. I'm not worried about the food getting stale or moldy, they're airtight enough to stay fresh. I have a feeling if you were traveling this would be the perfect little container, they wouldn't be easy to break. I think it will take a lot of strength to break them. I plan to use one in my pocket to hold emergency medication. The little scrapers that came with it go in my craft box. they will come in handy eventually, I'm sure! I've just placed a second order for another set because I didn't order enough the first time and I was so satisfied I see no reason to buy anything else!
