Wanted to Love but Was Disappointed with Frozen Fruit Smoothies

I was looking for a personal blender that could economically stay on my everyday smoothie table. After reading reviews of various brands, I ordered the Black and Decker Fusion Blade Personal Blender. Pros: I like that I can mix a bottle, change caps and go. The bottle fits perfectly in the car cup holder. The base is lightweight, easy to move, takes up little space and is not too big to leave on the counter. The blade is pretty much useless. You can mix frozen fruit, but it's best to have a little in the bottle and the rest filled with liquid. There must be a lot of liquid for it to mix at all. - I almost always have to pick the bottle off the floor and shake it around several times when mixing to mix the whole bottle. - Most of the time I start to hear a very loud noise coming from the mixer. It will vibrate so much that the bottle will start to unscrew the cap and the smoothie will splatter all over the place (see attached picture). I really wanted to like it. I didn't expect it to be Vitamix quality, but I expected it to mix well. After just a month, I'm tired of cleaning up my splattered smoothie and throwing it in the trash. If you just want to mix in some protein powder, liquid and a banana, this will probably work for you!
