Our dog wanted to sleep with us in the bedroom which was good but in the middle of the night he got up on the bed waking us up and disturbing our sleep. turning around, moving our legs, or anything else because we were afraid we would strangle or hurt them; she is sooo small (she is a miniature poodle). So we put her bed in a playpen next to her bed and closed it. She sees and hears us and sleeps there all night until morning. This 9 pound poodle has plenty of room to stand, roll over, walk around and of course sleep. Very happy with this purchase.
