I've been looking at capture cards left and right because capture cards are all the rage these days when "streaming services" take over the planet. This capture card works just like most other cards on the market today. I was able to just plug it into my USB-C dock on my desktop via USB-C (good thing it uses USB-C). From there I could see what was being captured as input in apps like VLC and OBS. 1080p was the max resolution and the bit rate is good enough for streaming. After about 30 minutes of recording, the box is definitely lukewarm, but not overly hot.
