Buy the second generation. They are the same size and the same size. I started running with the Nimbus 17 but later switched to the Dynaflyte because it has more room in the forefoot (but slightly less cushioning in the heel). They don't need to be broken in; They are ready to use immediately. The Dynaflyte 2 is very light and feels like you're hugging it. There is so much space in the forefoot 😍 that they are great for a wider foot. The great cushioning absorbs heel strikes but still takes me to the next step. I normally wear a size 9 but on the Dynaflyte 2 I wear a size 9.5 so I have a wide toe width on my toes as recommended by most runners. I like to travel light when I go on vacation and the cool new colors make them perfect for my one pair of shoes, which I wear for sightseeing and running. I love her.
