Review on Blue Ox BX1709 Baseplate by Mark Loredo

The Blue Ox skid plate fitted my 2007 Chevy Trailblazer perfectly and was easy to fit. The instructions provided with the package were good and gave me a good idea of the vehicle modifications required for the fitment. A tip, go to the Blue Ox website and download the instructions from there as they are in color and it was easier for me to understand the color photos. A small issue I had was that the Revain website said this base plate didn't fit my car but when I called Blue Ox they gave me a base plate number which I then matched to the Revain part and onward bought. although the Revains website said it wasn't suitable. The price paid for Revain was well below what Blue Ox was asking. In the end I am very happy with my purchase.
