Review on Wahl 5-Star Legend Clipper #8147 for Professional Use by Danese Chicagoland

Product very similar to other clippers; same weight, cuts well (a guard (1.5″) keeps slipping out and never fits right away). Protective cases all work, but should be made of thicker and better plastic. The main disadvantage is the blade adjustment lever. be metal IMHO, not plastic. The plastic is thin and feels thin. For a clipper in this price range, the lever needs to be a lot stronger - at least use a stronger plastic! It hasn't broken yet, but it flexes and you can tell it's a cheap compromise on build quality. Why save 50 cents for an important part that wears out all the time?! That's the only thing that sucks about this clipper - otherwise it would be 5*.
