Review on 🚗 Enhance Performance with FRAM Extra Guard Air Filter, CA8918 for Lexus and Toyota Vehicles by Adrian Woodside

This particular filter (CA 8918) is for my 2006 Toyota Tundra. I have used these Fram filters for many years and have found them efficient, reliable and bug free. Previous cars I've used them on have worked great after 200,000 miles so I can assume they've done their job. Not much to say about filters other than they work, right? Here are some other things I've noticed about using these air filters over the years: * Quality - Having used dozens and dozens of Fram air filters on various vehicles over the years, I've never had a single defect: None Cracks or gaps Seams are not taped, and gaskets always adhere perfectly to air box surfaces, sealing edges neatly and preventing blow-by gases. *Country of Manufacture - Although the Fram air filters I've used over the years have been shipped overseas, quality control has always been excellent. The last few filters I used on my 2006 Tundra were made in Israel for those who care.* Efficiency. The performance of these filters meets or exceeds the manufacturer's warranty requirements. In other words, if you properly maintain your car in every other way, it will last as long as it should. Some will say there are other air filters that are more efficient and I agree that this is probably true. Is there a noticeable difference after 100,000 km? 200,000km? I've had machines that have lasted longer, and my first-hand experience tells me that it's not worth spending money on something that doesn't really matter. There will be some who will disagree with me, and that's fine: I'm only reporting my personal experience with this product over decades of use and hundreds of thousands of miles. There are other great filters out there, some a little bigger or maybe even a little smaller than this one, and they all do the job. For me, this is the air filter I choose because it's reliable, works as it should, and is reasonably priced. Based on my experience I would recommend them to everyone.
