It was a good idea: Create an AirPod cover that's thick enough to help the buds stay in your ears, but thin enough to still fit in the case. Unfortunately, it didn't work for either me or my partner. We bought 2 sets. They didn't help the pods stay in either of our ears. The material is paper thin (and not that easy to get on the AirPod), so they'll slipped out of my ears just as easily as when I had no cover on the AirPods. What's worse, there's no return policy, so we got dinged for $22, for 2 sets of an item that will wind up in the trash. I'm going to return to using my slip-on "shark fin" tips that I bought on Best Buy last year. Sure, they don't fit in the AirPod case, but it only takes a second to slip them off and on, and the AirPods won't slip out of your ears once they're on.
