I am a master knitter. However, there are things I don't do often that I need to brush up on, and that's what makes this book so helpful to me. Yes, I could find out for myself, but being able to flip to the right page is so much better! Many of them are aimed at beginners, which greatly increases their attractiveness. I found it convenient to keep in my knitting bag and it opens flat for ease of use. In addition to the occasional refresher, it is very helpful if I explain something to a less experienced knitting colleague who might get stuck in a fine technique. I think every knitter should have this book. One woman said she was disappointed because she still had to get off. I always say you're not a real knitter if you can't puke with impunity. We all make mistakes, and drawing the wrong rope is part of the process. At least the author shows you how to paste a lifeline so you can copy and not worry about going further back than you have to.
