There are no issues with the cable that might occur with smaller cables. The release lever easily removes the cable from the socket. Due to the strain relief, this cable is very unlikely to detach from the working end. There are also many technical standards and features. luckily I don't know anything about it. Regardless, this cable just works so well that you would never suspect if there was a problem with your system. I like things I can count on, and I'm willing to pay an extra dollar or two for that luxury. The cable comes with a free Velcro strap to help with cable organization. Even the packaging that this cable comes in is a huge step up from the pathetic twisted zip ties that usually come with cables. The packaging keeps the cable secure and has a transparent window to see the contents. You'll need several of these to store spare cables - it's easy - just buy more cables from this company!
