First of all, the part of this product that fits your phone (phone case) is really great. It fully protects the phone when in the clip holster. However, as mentioned, it doesn't pride itself on the front of the phone, so placing the phone face down on the panel doesn't protect the front of the phone. :) I have a screen protector on the front of my phone (not included) so I don't really care about this issue. The swivel mechanism is very rigid - which is good since you don't want it to reorient itself. by itself - it stays in the orientation you set. However, when I wear it on my belt, I find that the part of the belt clip that faces my body is stuck in the spare tire! Especially since I wear a shirt over my pants and leave the tip of the clip on my bare skin. Sometimes after I sit down I have to adjust the clip so it doesn't get stuck inside me. I like how the phone slides in and out of the holder easily, yet I'm not afraid it will pop out on its own. . Finally it looks good, great finish on the black material. A good buy.
