Review on Gas stove GEFEST 700-02, brown by Celina Kaczyska ᠌

Didn't quite buy it well, had a little trouble using it.

Well, it gives out, probably, the declared power. 1.7 kW is not God knows what, but you can cook for two or three. This fact must be taken into account. As well as the fact that you will not have large dishes for two burners (look at the dimensions carefully). As well as the fact that it will take decently more time to cook than on a normal stove. As well as the fact that you won’t be able to fry something serious at all - there won’t be enough power. This, however, is not a disadvantage (I knew what I was getting into). This is an occasion to think and evaluate the size and power of the burners to meet your needs. In general, it should be understood that for serious constant cooking, say, for a family of four, this device is unlikely to fit. But for two or for infrequent use in the country, where there are a bunch of stoves and barbecues - just right. Also, I inform you that this tile is not suitable as a portable stove for outdoor trips. Firstly, the burners have two removable parts. I wrapped them in rags for transportation. Secondly, there is no wind protection. The burners of portable stoves are arranged differently. I used this tile indoors, but there is experience in using similar designs in nature. They require protection from the wind from below and from three sides, and even then it turns out - not very .

Pros
  • Actually, except for the appearance, price and low flame mode, I didn’t like anything.
Cons
  • I don’t know what the engineers were thinking when they came up with the connection between the hose and the stove. There, a flared tube with a coupling sticks out of the plate and a thrust nut on the hose. That is, you need two hefty wrenches in order to emble it. This is some unhealthy ! In addition, the tube was flared so crookedly that a soft fluoroplastic gasket had to be placed and brutally crushed. Otherwise, I just poisoned the gas, which I discovered when the light appeared there. Then I saw with my eyes that the nut sits a little crooked. Inconvenient gas regulators. First, they are small. Still, they could have been made a little larger and more grippy. Secondly, they are tight, which, perhaps, will p with time, but I did not manage to smoothly regulate the gas supply - only discretely.
