Readaer circular knitting machine :) I am very happy with 4 hoops; 4 devices for making cloverleaf pompoms; Needle and hook in a nice transparent plastic case with instructions for knitting a hoop on one side. I particularly like that all the pins have been glued for extra strength. It's been many years since I've seen such outstanding quality! I wrapped the sports bandage around the handle of the hook to ease my arthritic hand and now it fits me perfectly and has been pain free for hours. I take great pleasure in all the projects I do! There are a few important points to remember: #1 You can always take the yarn off the pins, unwind the project yarn and start over if it doesn't look right! #2 Relax! Go slow and slow, loosely wrapping the pins until you understand how the yarn works on the pins. #3 Smile! Your imagination is your only limit! make hats; socks; slippers; scarves; Cover; Knee pads; aprons; ear bandages; mittens; Gloves; Pullover; toys. Watch a YouTube video about loom knitting and pompom making. I checked on You Tube. Start with one by looking at it, place it in front of you on the table with a long white area located at 12 and 6 o'clock. (It looks like an alien spaceship.) There are loops under these ends, and next to the loops - 2 tabs at the top and 2 tabs at the bottom. Pull out slowly. You will see that there is a metal pin holding the two halves together. Look at the colored crescents side by side, you wrap the yarn around each double crescent, starting from the bottom and up (go in circles, fill the culvert hole without going beyond the flat edges, stop, cut yarn, repeat on the other double half) Now pinch both sides together so that it looks like a circle again. take your scissors pass the top edges between both halves and trim (set aside carefully). Cut a 12 inch (or size?) piece of yarn and wrap it between both sides (or ships). Peel and tie, wrap a few times and tie a few knots. Carefully separate from the middle. Voila! Pom pom to add to your knitting projects. Also visit your local library for weaving knitting books, they have LOTS! You will see that there is a metal pin holding the two halves together.
