Smells Very Strong and Chemically. I don't know if it's the canvas treatment or coloring that made it smell so bad, but I do know that no animal will go inside it until it airs out a while. I thought it would be a little bit bigger than it actually was (My fault, I never checked the specs). I was hoping 2 adult cat's would fit, but it would be tight. The top is put on with Velcro and it's not as easy as it seems. A better design would be to make it a straight box, and have the Roof fit on top like a box lid. It will work for my porch though.
