Externally identical to the original lamp, correctly installed. I replaced the air filter and removed all dust from the air ducts and fan. It was bright and clear until suddenly the lamp turned off the projector 2 or 3 minutes after turning it on and reaching full brightness. It is believed that the lamp cannot be operated at the projector's rated arc current without increasing the arc voltage beyond the limit used to determine lamp degradation. The arc voltage increases as the electrode metal is lost, the arc lengthens and the electrode rounds. Nothing replaces the fine adjustment of the lamp electrodes before the capsule is inserted and sealed. There must be something wrong with the metal or gap used. Conclusion: This lamp failed after 136 hours.
