Definitely runs small
I read the other reviews and because of them I ordered a size up. My son usually wears a size 10 for kids t-shirts so I ordered a size 12 and am very happy with it! It fits great and allows some shrinkage (50% cotton). Better to play it safe and order. There will also be room for growth.
