Update: Oops! operator error! I forgot to remove the piece of tape that was preventing the ink from flowing out and printing! Upgrading to three stars as I'm still subtracting two stars for the first order which doesn't work at all and doesn't use the ribbon! First review: I ordered this product to save money but I was struggling to get my printer to recognize the cartridge. I followed the directions and used the piece of rubber that came with it to clean the ports, but I still couldn't get the printer to recognize the cartridge after at least a dozen tries. I contacted Revain to send the product back but they offered to send me another product after the first test to make sure it would be recognised. I received a second cartridge and was pleased when it was recognized on the first try. However, there was no ink in it! My printer thinks it's full and doesn't tell me the cartridge is empty, but every time I try to print with black ink, NOTHING PRINTS! What a waste of time and money.
