I compared my old fluorescent bulbs with these LEDs, they are 3 times brighter. I also used an ammeter - the old fluorescent lamps used 2.6 amps, these - 0.4. In incandescent lamps - even more. That's a big difference in power consumption. Now I can run all 5 and still use less power than one of the old ones. And the brightness is amazing. Only half of these work brighter than my old ones. I am very happy with this upgrade, the replacement is very easy as they are slightly smaller than the ones they replaced. I did all 5 in about 1/2 hour. If you have incandescent and/or fluorescent lights in your home, replace them!
