Installation was easy except my TV is a bit tall. So it's a little fiddly to take off and put on, but overall the quality seems good and looks good. As you can see it's in the South Florida afternoon sun and I'm in an area that can get rain with a few side showers so I wanted to protect it. I used to have a 26" without a cap and it eventually succumbed to the elements. I haven't had it that long so can't comment on weather protection. **IMPORTANT** I have a 40" TV and need a 38" Inch coverage The width shown is the actual width of the TV, normal TV dimensions are the diagonals, so keep this in mind when ordering.
