student tool! on Portable Audio & Video

I am a student. It was one of my best investments in my education. The recorder is perfect as a student, for recording lectures. I usually place my dictaphone next to the lecturer on their desk or next to them (even if they are moving) so that no one disturbs the desk and you are not disturbed by the noise of your own movements or those of your fellow students. Even at a distance of 10 feet, it picks up the voice very well. The recorder is very light! This is handy because there's also a USB cable right inside the device, so you don't have to worry about carrying a USB cable around. The battery is included, which is a big plus. You just have to connect it to your computer by pressing the stop button to charge it. The hold button works like an OFF button to save battery power. 2GB is enough space to store different lectures of different lengths. What's more, you can even use the device as a USB drive to transfer files. When listening to your audio files, you even have the option to hear the sound "SLOW", "Normal", "Fast" which I find extremely useful. This is a BASIC recorder and is fantastic at what it does which is sound recording. When you use it to listen to music, the quality sounds very poor compared to a computer or iPod. Cons include the inability to rename folders and even filenames (while recording). You can rename the files after they are transferred to your computer. The device can be confusing for beginners, but once you get the basics down, this device becomes a must-have addition to your workout toolkit. The headphones that come with the device are pretty crappy if you're trying to listen to music. They last about a year before breaking (which is quite normal in my experience with headphones as such). The advantages far outweigh the disadvantages.
