It's getting very hot. The temperature controller is in the wrong place. As the person uses their fingers to rotate the rod to wrap the hair around the rod, I found I was constantly changing the temperature scale. If I used the iron a lot, I would be more frustrated because it's difficult to use. I don't plan to use it every day so it will work for now. As my hair grows longer and I decide to use a curling iron on a daily basis, I'll end up buying a different straightener.
