Review on FIDELO Carbon Fiber Slim Wallet by Robert Capers

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Stylish and minimalist, not very nimble

A truly minimalist wallet that can only hold a few cards and maybe some cash with a thin profile is hard to find. If that's what you want, try it. This wallet can be used with multiple cards and possibly cash, but is a bit more flexible than others I've tried as it can be expanded with a rubber band and potentially hold a fair amount of cards. The downside is that to do this you are basically using two rectangles with a strap around them. I wish there was some kind of loop on one end or it was closed so it looks more like a wallet and less like a sandwich board. (Or, more accurately, a sandwich.) With this design, you can't just open it up and pull out a card either. You'll have to fiddle around a bit. Product images/videos where you touch and pinch an end to unfold your cards don't work really well. It is elegantly and beautifully packaged. Feels very luxurious when you open it. Including four straps in different colors. Logo and design look representative. Carbon fiber is light and attractive. This is the perfect size for cards. I'd say the only downside, aside from the uncomfortable functionality mentioned above, is that the carbon fiber panels are a bit rough around the edges. You won't cut yourself by simply reaching into your pocket to get it, but it can have a smooth, polished finish around the edges to really take it a few notches in terms of luxury. I'm giving it five stars after two weeks of use. If I encounter quality problems in the first few months, I will check again.
