Cool drone. if it works. I need to uninstall and reinstall the app to connect successfully. Even when my phone's WiFi is on and connected to Tello, most of the time the app says it's not connected. When you try to fly, the message "Connecting to the drone" is displayed or a window with a note about connecting appears, although the WiFi is clearly connected. I succeeded 2 times and was able to fly the drone, but following the same steps after success gives error messages. Also, after connecting, the application asks me to update the firmware. After 3 connection attempts it finally booted up and installed properly showing a green cloud with a tick indicating a successful firmware update. Guess what happened the next time I tried to fly it? "Please connect to the drone" and after a few attempts "A new firmware version is available" as a final note. I bought a pack of 3 batteries, but after 1 of 2 successful flights, waiting 10 minutes, changing the battery and turning it back on, I get a red error saying the system is overheating and shutting down. What's the point of using multiple batteries if I have to wait the same amount of time to charge the battery before I can fly again? I used to have bigger DJI drones. This is not a new process for me. I am disappointed in this experience. On a positive note, the product and the contents depicted on it arrived as described. The extra props are a bit hidden in one of the drawers in the box, but it was all there. Image quality was as expected when I actually got to use it!
