They seem to work well, we use them in areas where there have been odor issues. We found that it helped with that. I tried to calculate the cycle time and noticed that it turns off briefly and then works again. I have one in the bathroom, I plug it into the bottom socket and the night light into the top one. seems to be working fine. It hangs down in my bathroom, I keep it in the downstairs drain. I'm chemically sensitive so I can't use air fresheners or strong fragrances. We are satisfied with this product.
