Very bright in lighting and ceiling fans

Have not yet been able to install in the location they were purchased for. I plugged them in to test them and they seem very bright and should work great. The problem I've seen is that the plug in the disconnect socket is very cheaply made. I screwed the knot into the adapter as a test and heard a click. I unclipped the socket assembly and the center pin is held in place by a very thin piece of plastic that broke with very little torque. My application does not require this adapter so the light is not affected. I will update after I install them and they find some use.
