Received this at the same time as ordering the Red Dragon VT 2-23 Weed-Dragon. I know the Red Dragon VT 2-23 is only $10 more expensive than that $45 compression valve, but... . Just check out the reviews and all of these weed flamethrowers work really well but can use a lot of LPG as you move from weed area to weed area. This pressure valve assembly allows you to set the flame to a pilot, pull the trigger and ignite. After clearing the first section, I realized there was no need to burn the grass down to the ground. Burn him well and he will die. If you hit harder, maybe the heat will kill part of the root. I do not know. Seems to be doing a good job. You can do without it, but an LPG tank costs $25 and pays for itself pretty quickly. By the way, it is well made and easy to mount on the burner. Follow the instructions. Be sure to use tape on all connections and clean any leaks with soapy water before lighting.
