Review on Royal Canin Persian Adult Dry Cat Food - 3 Lb Bag by Bill Gomez

My Persian enjoys most of Royal Canin dry foods, and this one, ROYAL CANIN BREED HEALTH NUTRITION Persian dry cat food, is by far her most favorite. Well, she is Persian and this product was made for Persian, so it makes sense :)Actually, I don’t like the fact that the first ingredient of this cat food, Royal Canin Persian, is Chicken by-product meal (NOT Chicken), followed by chicken fat, brewers rice, brown rice, corn gluten meal.I tried to feed my cat many other brands’ dry cat foods that have better ingredients, but my picky Persian didn’t like other cat foods at all. So, I’ve kept feeding her Royal Canin almost all her life. Good news is that my 10-year old Persian has been very healthy, implying that Royal Canin dry foods didn’t do any harm to my baby regardless of my worries about the ingredients. (By the way, my cat is much more flexible with can foods, so I can feed her other brands’ can foods without any issue, as a treat. She is very picky with dry foods only, which I find it a little strange.)Another thing I don’t like much (in addition to the first ingredient being chicken by-product meal) is the premium price for the Persian version compared to other varieties.Overall, I am pretty happy with Royal Canin products including this one, because my cat loves them so much more than any other brands.
