Bought this clay to use as a control for plum curculia on our peach tree - made a solution of kaolin clay + water and soaked nylon panties in the solution then put socks on all our peaches to change to protect them from plum curculio beetles. That was about 5 days ago and it still doesn't look like the bag peaches are being attacked; We'll see if that works in the long run. He also made a paste of clay and painted it on the trunk of a peach tree to deter drill bits; again too soon to say. It's probably more expensive per pound than what they sell for farm use, but I didn't want to buy a 25# so it was a good amount to experiment with (I've only used about a quarter pound so far). .
