I have two bulldogs (also six children). Bulldogs shed and get dirty, and keeping my back seat clean has always been a problem since they go to the park every day. I bought a new car this year and treated myself to a trellis divider to keep dogs in the back seat and then the seat above. This is a Hyundai Santa Fe and I've tried three different covers, the hammock type doesn't work for us as the dogs couldn't 'jump' onto the seat and therefore had to jump onto the floor of the car so the hammock meant they were underneath land. I have a medium armrest so this design looked promising. I was concerned by the reviews that had issues with seat belt placement. It fits perfectly in my car - the dogs love it and surprisingly my teens do too.
