I run a dog training and grooming center and we often use it for dogs with: *itchy hotspots *scratches/minor abrasions*cuts or small cuts*scratches on nose, tail or ears Safe if you accidentally get in spray the eyes (NOT recommended but it won't harm your pup's eyes if you do) so it can be used around the face. This stuff is amazing. If you have a dog/cat/small mammal, keep it handy.
