This sun canopy is quite compact and light weight and is a good alternative if you are carrying a complete set of beach gear. It seems no more difficult to install than other types of sun visors and easier than some of them. In windy conditions, you MUST face the canopy upwind as instructed and actually load the upwind sandbags. Once you have that and proper bar placement, it handles windy conditions quite well. The downside of having a windward front is that it can reduce the amount of usable shade and/or the angle of the canopy can block the desired view. For these reasons I cannot give the product 5 stars.
