This isn't a very expensive playset, so most of my annoyances are probably just too much to expect. Our daughter is only 15 months old and has done almost nothing but crawl through tunnels and scale the walls of ball pits, so the abuse has been minimal. I haven't noticed any damaged parts yet, but I suspect they will show up once she starts playing a little rougher. There are a lot of threads sticking out in the seams, so I assume the seams will unravel at some point. Track connectors leave a lot to be desired. Each hole has 2 pin and loop connectors that are 180 degrees apart and 2 zip ties that are about 6 inches long and 180 degrees apart. The ties are made of very thin material so you cannot simply double knot them as the thin nature of the ties makes them very difficult to untie. Difficult to tie a bow or other slipknot with ties that short as I have big hands. It's absolutely impossible to tie knots when an impatient baby is crawling through the tunnels. If they were a few inches longer it would be a lot easier. Pins and loop connectors are useless. I've tried to get her to keep in touch, but I can't. If you wrap the pen in the loop several times, it will hold for a while, but eventually it will loosen up. For a few bucks more it would be nice if they put clasps with nice nylon strips on the buckles of the backpack. This would make assembling the section really nice and easy. It doesn't actually cost that much more and will go a long way towards making this product more enjoyable. I'd happily pay another 10 for something with connectors like this.
